We’ve removed jets from our pedicure bowls to avoid the hidden buildup of bacteria and germs. Each bowl is crafted from recyclable, BPA-free, and toxin-free materials, aligning with our commitment to clean beauty. Why Non-Toxic? We believe beauty should never come at a price, and neither our staff nor our clients should have to sacrifice their health to enjoy it. Our goal was to create an alternative that protects overall wellbeing without compromise. At JUDY AVILEZ BEAUTY STUDIO, we have tirelessly sourced the most conscious, non-toxic products available to ensure everyone can experience Guilt-Free + Conscious + Beauty. (All of our polishes are at least 5-Free, meaning they are formulated without the most harmful chemicals traditionally found in nail polish: Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Dibutyl Phthalate, and Toluene.)
What is 5-Free? All of our polishes are 5-Free or better, meaning they are formulated without the five most hazardous ingredients commonly found in conventional nail polish: Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Dibutyl Phthalate, and Toluene.
Why Jet-Free? Our pedicure bowls are FREE of JETS, eliminating harmful breeding grounds for bacteria and germs. We also pride ourselves on sourcing pedicure bowls made of recyclable, BPA-Free, and Toxin-Free materials crafted in Vancouver. Each resin bowl features a peddle-textured base designed to gently massage the feet. Every pedicure bowl is emptied and sanitized between services, ensuring you receive a new, freshly sanitized pedicure bowl for your treatment.
Do You Offer Acrylic or Dip? We offer a safer, non-toxic, and long-lasting alternative to the highly toxic acrylic and dip services found in traditional nail salons. With our “The Better Than Acrylic” (builder gel) service, we use our non-toxic builder gels to give you the longevity and durability of acrylic or dipped nails—without all the toxic baggage.
What is Builder Gel? (Acrylic Alternative) Our Builder Gel / “The Better Than Acrylic” service is our flagship offering. Our technicians apply a builder gel overlay using a precise floating bead method, carefully layering the gel/polish onto the natural nail and curing it with our LED (non-UV) lamps, rather than simply painting it on. While this process is more technical and time-consuming, it provides a safer, non-toxic | vegan-friendly alternative that delivers the longevity and strength of traditional SNS Acrylics/Dip. Our gel services help protect the natural nail, promote healthy growth, and can last up to 3–5 weeks.
What is Soft Gel/Shellac? Our soft gel application is a vegan-friendly | non-toxic polish option known for its superior durability compared to regular polish and is cured under our LED (non-UV) lamps. (Lasts up to 21 days.) Our CND Shellac application is a non-toxic gel hybrid polish option celebrated for its durability and its amazing selection of shades and hues. This service is also cured under our LED (non-UV) lamps. (Lasts up to 14 days.) We also offer a beautiful selection of regular non-toxic lacquer polishes, which are traditionally air-dried and have a typical wear time of up to 7 days.
